The Advanced Dental Center dedicates its efforts towards offering comprehensive dental care approach that focuses on promoting health, rather than just treating the disease. The main goal is to provide high level of expertise and service in a calming professional atmosphere combined with the latest technology and state of art equipment.
Our dental center employs modern technology in dentistry, and continuously updates and upgrades its practices in order to give the patients the highest level of care. In addition, our center have an in house laboratory, thus we are one of the few dental practices in Kosovo to have qualified dental laboratory technicians working on the premises. The dental laboratory uses innovative laboratory techniques in porcelain and zircon to give its clients the smile that they have desired for.
We employ a highly skilled and experienced team of dentists and hygienists. They are committed in giving the patients the best care possible. Experience: Dr.Mekaj was selected to complete a multi-disciplinary hospital residency at University Clinical Center in Kosovo, where he has specialized in oral surgery in 2008.This experience provided him with advanced training in all the aspects of dentistry including oral surgery, anesthesia, and treatment of medically compromised patients. Dr. Mekaj is currently a lecturer at the UMS "Rezonanca" in Pristina. In 2002 Dr. Fisnik Mekaj opened The Dental Clinic in Prishtina under the umbrella of UMS "Rezonanca". In addition, Dr. Mekaj, since 2009 has been regularly certificates from the University of North Caroline at Chapel Hill in oral surgery and implants. Dr. Mekaj also holds a certificate in international training from SIRONA Dental Company for 3D CT imaging and CEREC.

Education: University of Medical Sciences "Rezonanca" branch dentistry in Prishtina, graduated in
2012 earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree with high distinction.
-Since 2017 he is attending Orthodontic Specialization in University Dentistry Clinical Center of Kosovo.
-In 2019 he has gained specialization in the field of Oral Surgery at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje – North Macedonia
Experience: Completed six-months General Practice residency at Regional Public Hospital of Prishtina.
Dr. Dardan has enjoyed working in his family private dental clinic since 2012, and from 2013 is a member of Advanced Dental Center as a general dentist.
-His focus is on General Dentistry and he especially enjoys esthetics, endodontics, orthodontics and oral surgery. He uses a conservative patient-focused approach to dentistry. Prides himself in providing treatment with minimal discomfort. When not in the dental office dr. Dardan spends his time on continuing education in order to stay abreast of all the new dentistry innovations including new techniques and technology.

Experience: Experienced Swedish Dental Hygienist with a demonstrated history of working both clinically and within oral health promotion in field work. Besa has been working in Advanced Dental Center for nearly 10 years, as the first dental hygienist in the clinic. She is the first Dental Hygienist to be licensed in Kosovo and choose to call her self holistic Dental Hygienist who always works towards patient centered care.

Experience: Clinical experience in the Dentistry field, with specific focus on Restrorative Dentistry, Endodontics, and Prosthodontics/Cosmetic Dentistry. Part of Advanced Medical Center since April 2017. Co-author to research work of Case Reports in Dentistry, namely, "Blade of Grass and an Unusual Cause of Recurrent Facial Cutaneous Sinus Tract: A Clinical Case” and “Sclerothrapy of Oral Superficial Hemangioma".
